This doctoral college is supported by the French-German University from 2019 to 2022. It aims at developing a doctoral education or a part of a doctoral project in collaboration between the doctoral school of Mechanics, Energetics, Materials and Geosciences at École Normale Paris-Saclay and the Leibniz Universität Hannover.
This programme concerns the development of high-fidelity modeling techniques and innovative numerical strategies, as well as new experimental methods for the development and the manufacturing of novel materials and structures relevant to civil and mechanical engineering applications. The main topics concern sophisticated modeling and testing approaches, as well as scientific computing in engineering sciences (mathematical description of their properties, robust and reliable techniques that can be used to perform experiment and virtual testing of materials and structures,...).
